SPACE INVADERS DIGITAL STORY

Published in both the print and digital editions of SCOUT magazine issue 37, Space Invaders was an interview and photoshoot with musicians of different genres in their workspaces. Taking inspiration from Adrienne Salinger’s Teenagers in their Bedrooms, we requested the musicians to not change anything about their spaces as we wanted to showcase the different environments their music is being crafted in without the usual practice of intervention styling can accidentally accomplish. The editorial team and photographer brought minimal equipment so we could be unobtrusive to the spaces.

It culminated in an article that combined short interviews with the artists, the photoshoot, and finally a video interview which was uploaded to the SCOUT youtube channel as part of the SCOUT Follows video series which I  was also responsible for animating the title cards for.
