Published in both the print and digital editions of SCOUT magazine issue 37, Space Invaders was an interview and photoshoot with different musicians in their workspaces.

Taking inspiration from Adrienne Salinger’s Teenagers in their Bedrooms, we requested the musicians to not change anything about their spaces as we wanted to showcase the different environments their music is being crafted in without the usual practice of intervention that styling accomplishes.

The editorial team and photographer brought minimal equipment so we could be as unobtrusive as possible.

It culminated in an article that combined short interviews with the artists, the photoshoot, and a video interview.

I animated the title card for the video which was part of the SCOUT follows series.
