In the lead up to the 2022 Philippine presidential election, GIGIL and Arcade Film Factory partnered with Push Pinas, a social progress movement focused on the youth, to promote voting literacy.

The core insight was about local politicians using tarpaulin banners to promote themselves and claim credit for public services.
This is a widespread practice that is done to circumvent campaign timeline restrictions.

The campaign was conceptualized with a guerilla-minded ethos. We designed and printed the posters with the “politicians” being our own contacts and staff. The production company then filmed the posters with a run-and-gun approach, using a lean crew and ensuring that the posters were only up for the duration of filming.
